Welcome Back Courtice North Families:
I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Courtice North P.S. I am excited to join such a wonderful circle of educators, students, and families. I am confident that together, with the support of our dedicated staff and parents/guardians, we will continue to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students.
I am committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and collaboration, where all members of our school community feel valued and supported. I believe that every child has unique talents and abilities, and I am dedicated to working with our team to help each student reach their full potential. While school is a place of learning, it should also be a place where students laugh and enjoy themselves. I look forward to working with Mrs. Gray in making this transition as smooth as possible, while continuing to build a strong and supportive school community.
We have several new and returning staff joining our team, this year including myself.

Student Drop off on Tuesday Morning is at 8:15 am.
If your child is in Grade 1-8, they will enter the school yard and place their backpack in their class line before they play with friends. The student's teacher will greet them and walk them into the school when the bell rings.
If your child is in kindergarten, they will be met by staff at the Kindergarten patio (east side of the school), to enter their K zone. Staff will be outside to greet and answer any questions you may have. Recognizing that this transition is difficult for some students and for safety reasons, parents are asked to stay outside of gated areas.
Kiss & Ride Program:
Our Kiss & Ride program resumes this year in the east parking lot. Watch for signage when driving into the driveway. Reminder for parents not to get out of your car if you are in the Kiss and Ride lane. This delay can impact student safety.
We are also looking for parent volunteers to assist with this program 8:15 am to 8:30 am.
Housekeeping Reminders:
CNO is a nut-free and scent free school.
Dogs are not allowed on school property.
After Tuesday, September 5th, late student entries into the school need to be made through the front doors with a check in at the office.
